New Volunteers Welcome!

See our advertisement at www.volunteermatch.org!  We are always looking for reliable, hard working volunteers that love animals.  Hands on or behind the scenes, there are lots of opportunities for those with a lot or a little free time on their hands.

Some of our available opportunities are:

• Foster Care:  Open your home to a homeless animal either of the canine or feline persuasion.  It can be a very rewarding experience!
• Adoption Coordinator:  Help us interview new families interested in adoption to be sure the right pet is placed with the right family.
• Fundraising Coordinator:  Help us set up one-time and on-going fund raising activities to pay the enormous veterinary and food bills that we incur every month.
• Volunteer Coordinator:  Coordinate volunteers for various activities.
• Petsmart Volunteers:  Clean the kitty cages and assist with weekend adoptions.
• Shelter Hands:  Lots of work needed here.  Assist with cleaning of kennels and dog lots; set-up fencing; mow yards, weed eating, etc.
• Dog Trainer:  Are you a professional trainer that could assist us with animals that have behavior issues?  Can you provide one on one training (either via e-mail or in person) to adopters wishing to take home a physically challenged animal?
