Lucky is an amazing boy. His picture came through to his rescue mom from animal care and control. Needing to weight 50 lbs, he was starved and emaciated at 21.4 lbs with internal parasites, advanced heartworms, skin infections, literally a walking dead dog. But he always wagged his tail. His rescue mom sent him up to emergency services of Davidson Animal Hospital to see if he could be saved. We are including his original pics not to horrify but to show how resilient this loving boy is. He almost died there but with love and mercy and hope he is now a gorgeous baby with an incredible personality. Abuse does not define him. He wants an indoor home, a couch to sit next to you, walks, and play. He is good with other dogs, we are cat testing. His tail always wags, and he thrives on hugs and kisses as he has never had this.
