Cali, born around 1999, was a stray that came to us heartworm positive and pregnant. She was at the vet's office, went into labor and brought four little puppies into the world. All of her pups have since been adopted. Cali weighs in at about 25lbs, and could stand to lose a few pounds, but she is happy just the way she is. Cali will just roll over and look to you to rub her little belly. She loves attention and would love to be the lap dog you have been looking for. She is very laid back and friendly. She recently went to help as a visual aid as one of our volunteers did speeches at a local high school. She did very well with the crowd of people and just enjoyed the attention.
