Last October, Bill Johnson, a friend to animals, suffered a massive stroke in his home and passed away a few days later. Bunny Boy, his beloved pet, was the only one with him through a long lonely night where Bill was unable to calll for help. Bill was not found until the next morning. A rescuer had always promised Bill that if anything ever happened to him, that Bunny Boy and all his outside cats would be provided for. Bill was told right before he died that the rescuer had Bunny and that he would always be provided for. Though Bill was in a coma, he must have heard as he squeezed his brother's hand. Bill passed away shortly after that.

So Bunny Boy, very scared, grieving was terrified as an only child for a long time with little social life except with Bill, who adored him. Bill raised Bunny from kitten to adult. Bunny Boy is now five years old. He doesn't manage change well, but is ready for a forever home with a special family, no other pets but Bunny. He will hide and struggle with change, but given time, as with the rescuer, he will come out of his shell and embrace his new family. We know there is a very special family out there or single person that wants to be the family that Bunny needs.

Solid white, Bunny Boy is a show piece of solid white. He only eats a special brand of food and that is a miracle as he was raised on kitty treats. He loves to play and is very gregarious when he believes he is loved and safe. It's been a long and hard road for Bunny as we think he is still waiting for Bill. He is so worth the effort to bring him into your home. He will be a pet of a life time.

• Cats are up-to-date on shots, wormed, tested for FELV & FIV, microchipped and altered prior to adoption.
• Many of our cats are kept in foster homes and are not necessarily available for viewing at Petsmart. Cats in foster homes are viewed by pre-arranged appointment by approved applicants only.

• Our pets are kept  at our adoption center and viewed by pre-arranged appointment by approved application
