This is Barney. We rescued him from gaston county animal control. very sweet little guy. He weighs in at 28lbs . he is a low rider with tall personality. Barney loves his belly rubbed and to give lots of kisses. Once he gets to know you, he learns quickly to love you and will do anything to please you. Barney Likes to play and does well with other animals, can sometimes be seen as the submissive one. he does not come up short on anything but his little legs! Barney has been adopted out twice, once to a police officer, and he was found running free, another lady only had him for a day as she did not realize how active a 2 year old dog really is.
Barney is currently being fostered and in a week, has been house broken, he will go hang out around the door if he needs to go out. He gets long well with other dogs (as he has 5 others in his foster home). He is a great cuddler. Is leary of men, but we are working on that. All volunteers at the sanctuary are women, so one can understand why he is leary of men. He is doing well and continues to look for his forever family!!
*Barney is progressing and only barks at the man of the house when he comes home or comes down the hallway. He will even cuddle with him sometimes and give him kisses. He has currently been in his foster home for 2 months and he is truly loving the good life. Oh, and he loves to play fetch, he just does not always bring the ball or stick bacl to you.
