Hey, everyone. I am the newest rescue with Recycled Pets. My name is now 'Golden'. This is not a funny backstory, but my old family took me to Davidson County Animal Shelter NC in Lexington, NC. They wanted me euthanized because, and wait for it, I kept falling off the porch because I can't see well. Makes you wonder why they kept putting me on the porch? Lucky for me they don't euthanize healthy pets, which I am. My foster mom saw me and asked Rescue Mom Teri if they would ...take me in, get me fixed and vetted, and find me a great home. Yes, us older ladies are wonderful placements in homes and the Recycled Pets followers are those wonderful king of people I've been told. My old name was Venus, but us rescues get new homes and new names as not to remind us of those who didn't want the best for us. I am so glad to be safe and sound. I go to the vet tomorrow to get spayed and have some warts removed. I am a bit chunky, so I will be watching my girlish figure. Now, I know someone reading this will want to adopt me. Keep your paws crossed for me tomorrow at the vets for surgery. <3 Golden once known as Venus
Dogs are up-to-date on shots, wormed, on heartworm preventative, microchipped and altered(spayed/neutered), prior to adoption.
Our pets are kept at our adoption center and viewed by pre-arranged appointment by approved application
